The famous singer took to Instagram to share the celebration of her daughter Mercy James’ sweet 16th birthday. The “Hung Up” singer posted a fun video of their trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The four of the clout, Madonna, Mercy, her boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams, and the son David Banda are in the amusement park video.
The singer set the first part of the video partially to her 2008 single song “4 Minutes”. You can see Madonna rocking a white and blue hat, a printed stunning black sweatsuit and white sunglasses.
The camera then moves to the birthday girl, who tells how she feels about turning 16. She said that she felt different, new, renewed, goofy, and quirky on turning 16.
The fashion game of the teenager was on point for such a quirky outing. The girl looked just gorgeous. Rocking a Tupac shirt featuring Shakur and the famous phrase “Wake Me”, beautiful jeans, and an orange hat. The shirt was perhaps a special gift after this daughter-mother duo recently visited the L.A. Live Tupac exhibit.
Madonna Rides Rollercoasters But Says, ‘I Can’t Take This!’
The whole group appeared to enjoy many daring rides, especially roller coasters. But the singer looked a little exhausted after making it through one of the rides.
Madonna made the announcement that they were in the park for their daughter’s birthday celebration. Then the wild group went to dare themselves to an impossibly tall rollercoaster that the park is famous for.
Later, the singer remarks, “I can’t take this anymore! I pay to be abused.”
There is another amusing part of the clip where the singer briefly whimpers, facing the camera between the rides. Right after that, you can see the group laughing at a photo that shows them using the log flume to plunge into the water.
The California park trip was just the latest in Mercy’s trips around the sun and celebration events. The daughter had a surprise party earlier this week, and they visited the Tupac Shakur Experience.
This celebration involved their Sunday visit. The singer had shared the video of the surprise for her daughter on Saturday. The video showed Mercy walking into the room and then shouting “Oh my God!” when she saw her room filled with balloons and beautiful lights.
Then her twin cute younger sisters, 9, greeted her with kisses and hugs. The “Confessions on a Dance Floor” artist paired her video with Mercy’s several pictures taken over the years.
The mom of the six captioned the birthday post wishing Mercy a very happy birthday and praising her as the most thoughtful, magical, and kindest girl on the planet!
Madonna’s Son And Boyfriend In Action
The video ends with the son, who is also 16. In the clip, he practices his flips and dance moves. Later Williams and Mercy also join him. Madonna’s boyfriend danced with the singer’s son to join the fun celebration. It only seems fitting as Ahlamalik is a choreographer and dancer himself. In the last part of the video, David puts his arm around Madonna and says, “I’ll always love you”. Then he is seen kissing his beautiful mother, which is so heartening for the fans.
