Kylie Kristen Jenner is an American media personality, socialite, model, and businesswoman. She starred in the E! reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians from 2007 to 2021 and is the founder and owner of cosmetic company Kylie Cosmetics. She is currently the most-followed woman and the second most-followed person on Instagram. In 2019, Forbes estimated Jenner’s net worth at US$1 billion and called her the world’s youngest self-made billionaire at age 21.
In April 2017, Jenner was first seen with Travis Scott at Coachella. In February 2018, Jenner gave birth to their daughter, Stormi Webster. Jenner appeared in the music video for “Stop Trying to Be God”, from Scott’s third studio album Astroworld. They broke up in September 2019 but were quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic for the sake of their daughter and ended up rekindling their relationship.
In September 2021, Jenner revealed that she and Scott were expecting their second child after weeks of speculation. Jenner gave birth to their son, who was originally given the name Wolf Webster, on February 2, 2022.
A glimpse inside the life of her newborn son
In a YouTube video that’s appropriately titled “To Our Son,” Jenner and her many family members can be seen celebrating the birth of her second child, along with footage of the baby’s minimalist nursery. In the video, the Kylie Cosmetics owner, 24, shared adorable glimpses from her newborn son’s giraffe-themed baby shower and also gave fans a tour of his luxurious nursery.
But in a sea of muted colors and children’s books, Wolf’s $9,000 Louis Vuitton teddy bear and impressive sneaker collection stood out, which featured a generous closet of Nike shoes, including Travis’ Air Jordan Cactus Jack trainers.
The rare bear is printed with the classic Louis Vuitton monogram and is no longer available at stores. Originally released during Louis Vuitton’s fall 2004 menswear show, it’s since skyrocketed in value and is considered a collector’s item; one’s currently listed for a staggering $20,550 at Farfetch.
At the centre of the room is a Nursery Works Gradient Crib – made from maple hardwood and retailing for $10,000 (£7,500), the cot takes more than eight months to be made to order. In keeping with the giraffe theme of her son’s baby shower, Jenner has also placed a wicker giraffe in the room.
Meanwhile, Jenner, who had named her newborn son Wolf, recently announced changing her baby’s name. In an IG Story interview, the makeup mogul revealed that her son is no longer called Wolf; a decision that was jointly taken by her and boyfriend Scott. Additionally, the video offers a look at the grand design of Jenner’s baby shower, which included towering wooden giraffes and no shortage of perfectly in-blooming flowers.
She told fans she changed his name because ‘we just really didn’t feel like it was him’. Kylie is yet to announce her son’s new name, but that hasn’t stopped fans from theorizing about potential new names, of course.
