As we all know, Johnny Depp has literally been to hell and back after facing his ex-wife Amber Heard in court after filing a defamation case against her. The trial successfully ended with a seven-person jury, one and all voting in Depp’s favor! Before the demise of Depp and Amber Heard’s marriage, he was an extremely successful star, known for being a part of some the most unconventional films, playing iconic characters such as Captain Jack Sparrow, Willy Wonka, and the Mad Hatter.
Depp’s Love For Music
What a lot of people might not know about Depp is that long before his acting career kicked off and he gained all of that fame and success, he wanted to be a full-time musician. Becoming a star did gave him the opportunity to play with artists such as Alice Cooper and Oasis, which is why Depp is now taking his music career seriously.
Back in 2012, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry came together with Johnny Depp to make a rock supergroup that’s now well known by the name “the Hollywood Vampires.” The band has come out with two studio albums in the past; the albums featured many singers, some of which were Dave Grohl, Joe Walsh, Paul McCartney, Zak Starkey, and Christopher Lee.
Tour Announcement
It has been reported that Johnny is ready to take the band back on the road! They will be hitting the roads of Europe touring and performing in different cities in the summers of 2023. Hollywood Vampires made their very first announcement regarding the tour dates. They revealed that the shows will start in Luxembourg and Germany on 20th June and will end on the 30th. They also revealed that the tickets would be going on sale from Monday.
The band would be returning to the stage after three years on this tour. Their last performance was during a U.S. tour they did back in 2019 to support their album Rise. As of today, Hollywood Vampires haven’t released any new music yet but the band remains under the spotlight from touring all around Australia, U.S., and Europe. They also performed at headlining festivals such as Rock in Portugal back in 2016.
After winning the defamation trial against his ex-wife, Depp decided to travel to the UK to perform at a few shows with a British guitarist, Jeff Beck, as they were preparing for the release of their duo album titled 18.
