A Wellbeing Course Is Being Taught In A North West Tai Chi School

It is a fact that everyone’s ultimate goal is to find peace in their life and be healthy, but it is equally true that good health is not always enough for a person to live a fulfilling and satisfying life. physical health and money most certainly can not ensure eternal happiness. The true form of happiness is achieved by having a healthy mind; one that goes along with a fit body.

More often than not, people seem to disregard the importance of taking care of their mental health. However, we must give it the same kind of importance as we do to our physical health. To help promote the significance of wellbeing, an announcement has been made of a well-being course to be introduced in the borough by a school in North West Tai Chi.

The Wellbeing Course 

The announcement revealed that the program – which is known as “An Introduction to the Wonders of Qigong Tai Chi” – was to be launched at two locations in September and October respectively. At 6p.m on the 13th of September, Tuesday, it was to be introduced at The Chakra Room, Ramsbottom’s holistic therapy center and also at 2 pm, on October 4, Tuesday, at Cosalea Café Bar located on Walshaw Road. 

The Purpose Of The Course

The purpose of the course is the enhancement of one’s mental as well as physical health. The school’s founder believes that this time of the year is stressful as children go back to school. Everyone needs a boost. In this course, one spends six weeks learning about Tai Chi and Qigong. Lessons in breathing techniques, meditation, and postures are also taught in this course, which helps in the reduction of pain, stress, and improve one’s overall health. 

Tai Chi

In Tai Chi, you learn about a chain of postures that are linked through graceful movements. A huge focus of this activity is on breathing techniques as well as concentration. It is said that this exercise is performed in a specific sequence to help restore and increase the flow of energy. It is also to exercise one’s body, mind, and spirit to help the overall well-being of a person.

Qigong

On the other hand, Qigong is all about the exercise of the mind and body through means of meditation, movement, and breathing to enhance energy and heal. This exercise is performed for a long list of reasons and has proven to have several health benefits.
