Marla Gibbs – Born In 1931 – The Jeffersons

Marla Gibbs might have entered the acting scene a little later in life, but she still managed to leave a lasting mark both figuratively and literally. In 2021, she received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame thanks to her work as Florence Johnston in “The Jeffersons.”

Safe to say, the risk she took quitting clerk job at United Airlines to move to California in the ’70s paid off! Five decades later and she’s still in the game starring in a recurring role in the long-running soap opera “Days Of Our Lives.”
