Nehemiah Persoff – Born in 1919 – Some Like It Hot
Among the last living performers from Hollywood’s Golden Age, Nehemiah Persoff is still doing the most with his time on earth. Last appearing in an uncredited role in the 2003 TV series “Angels In America,” he went on to retire in Cambria, California, after over 50 years as an actor.
According to the San Luis Obispo Tribune, the “Some Like It Hot” actor spends his time painting watercolor artworks and writing. He published his autobiography “The Many Faces Of Nehemiah” in 2021. Unfortunately, his wife of seven decades, Thia Persoff, passed away shortly before the book was released.
