Discontent with the way he looked, Jonah Hill saw a nutritionist who advised him to switch to a Japanese diet and quit drinking alcohol, which would help him shed a few pounds. As soon as the actor noticed a difference from simply changing what he ate, he started exercising to complement his efforts.
While Hill is content with and keeps getting praise for his new physique, he prefers people to keep their comments about one’s physical appearance to themselves. According to the star, there’s so much more to a person than how they look, and we become a better society when we cultivate qualities that actually matter, such as kindness and compassion.
